Kent History & Library Centre provides Maidstone and Kent with an exemplar mixed use development. Through the detailed design of the panoramic glass facades and pronounced overhanging canopy the new library and archive facility creates a safe, secure and inviting structure in the public realm.

The archive is home to historic documents dating back as early as the 7th century including letters from Jane Austen and Lord Nelson. All priceless documents are protected to the stated requirements set out in BS5454, with full approval of ‘The National Archives’.

In partnership with Housing 21 and West Kent Housing Association, the scheme also comprises of two feature residential tower blocks with associated facilities.
